Computer Engineering Barbie?

Vote at the Barbie website to make the next “Career Barbie” a computer engineer: http://www.barbie.com/vote/
The options are: computer engineer, environmentalist, news anchor, architect, and surgeon. I’d say at least three of these are in STEM fields—-awesome! A cute and popular toy would be a reasonable way to win some young-girl mindshare. Hopefully, Computer Engineer Barbie will add some much-needed bling to a drab field. News Anchor Barbie is a troubling contender; while not lacking in ambition, she relies on her looks and popularity to get ahead.
