There is an educational initiative in our nation and around the world to encourage our youth to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

STEM K8 AFTERSCHOOL program will spark interest and awareness in our planet’s sustainability challenges; accelerate the progress toward a sustainable world by engaging our youth at an early age in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The program will also provide curriculum on Alternative/Renewable Energy and Agriculture.

We are a non-profit organization building from the ground up. We have began the process of obtaining a 501©3 classification as a non- profit organization with the IRS.

The program will open in Downingtown, PA in the fall of 2010. Our program will offer parents and students the opportunity to get involved with a program that will be one of the best cutting-edge after school programs in the nation. In the fall of 2012 we will open the STEM Global Youth Academy for students in grades K-12.

We offer a curriculum which can be integrated with all core courses in any school K-8. Our students will learn while having a lot of fun.

There is an opportunity for area high school and college students to mentor, share their knowledge, meet clinical hour requirements, and community service hours. There will be an opportunity for area professionals to contribute their expertise to the program on an ongoing basis.

STEM K8 AFTERSCHOOL will help to prepare our students in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) so that institutions of higher education can prepare them to enter the 21st Century workplace with the skills necessary to be competitive in the global marketplace.

We are seeking to partner with organizations, corporations, and institutions of higher education.
