Bio
I am a fortysomething Internet professional. I specialize in working with small business, helping them by building custom web sites from scratch, or doing piecemeal consulting work on existing sites where they know they need changes, but don’t want to start from scratch.
Education
Geology/Paleontology BS, unfinished graduate degree in Paleo (baaaaaad grad school experience). Pick up classes wherever I can, may start teaching at local career college.
Career
After destroying my joints doing Geology, I settled on doing Internet stuff, ‘cause that’s what you did in the mid 90’s. It turns out I had quite an aptitude for it, and have spent nearly 15 years in the Internet industry, touching a little of every aspect of web site hardware and software development. Currently though, my true loves are usability and accessibility work.
