I am a spunky and outgoing woman who loves to be surrounded by good friends and family (often the line between friend and family is blurred for me). I enjoy watching football (GO PATS) and NASCAR. In the summer you can almost always find me out back playing with my daughter, on a walk, or on the porch with a good book. I’m an avid reader of science blogs and popular science books have a special place in my heart as well. I love rockets, Astronomy is awe inspiring and I have a new fascination for Neurology. I also would love to learn to program computers, or just learn more about them in general.
I have two years towards a bachelor of science in Aerospace Engineering. I had to put it on hold 5 years ago due to health issues but am working hard to get everything put back into place so I can go back to college.
I have spent all of my career thus far, unfortunately, outside of science. I have spent the majority of it in banking (processing or “underwriting” mortgage loans) and creating loan documentation. Although I to do get to play resident geek/nerd for a small firm.
