Well I started calling myself geekgirl in the late 80s. I think it caught on and now have more than 65,000 people (gurls, I assume) worldwide who use the term for differing degrees of empowerment. I created Australia’s first online and longest running ‘cyberfeminist’ hyperzine. www.geekgirl.com.au & it continues to morph and reflect my personality and interests.
Have a degree in Journalism. Self-taught geek with a myriad of skills in production, project management, content, etc.
That;s a really long list so I’ll have to get back to it l8er.
